Discuss Your ProjectFROM COMPONENTS TO ASSEMBLIES
Fuda’s manufacturing work brings together large steel structures, equipment components, and gate assemblies. These workshop views show different stages in preparing equipment for water control projects.
Manufacturing large gate structures and associated steelwork forms a central part of our equipment production for water infrastructure projects.
Individual components and structural parts form the building blocks of our gate and hoisting equipment, with requirements determined by the equipment configuration.
Workshop pre-assembly brings gate structures and related parts together before delivery, providing a stage for reviewing how the assembly fits together.

INSPECTION IN PRACTICE
Component dimensions and protective coatings are two important areas of equipment inspection. These views highlight checks carried out on Fuda’s water control equipment and components.

Coating thickness measurements help assess the applied protective coating against specified thickness requirements.
Dimensional inspection compares component measurements with drawing requirements, helping identify discrepancies that may affect fit and assembly.

Discuss Your ProjectWORKING WITH FUDA
Learn about our company, cooperation process, design standards and manufacturing requirements before discussing your project with Fuda.
Fuda primarily uses Chinese design standards, including SL 74 for steel gates and SL 41 for gate hoists in water resources and hydropower projects.
For projects specifying USACE guidance or other international design criteria, share your technical specifications with our team. The applicable design documents, editions and project requirements are reviewed and agreed before design work proceeds.
For Chinese-standard projects, Fuda follows GB/T 14173 for the manufacture, installation and acceptance of steel gates, and SL/T 381 for gate hoists.
International project requirements can also be reviewed, including AWS D1.5 bridge welding requirements where specified and applicable, and BS 7775 for penstocks used in water and other liquid flow applications.
Requirements relating to AISC 207 and hydraulic structure fabricator certification are considered separately from product manufacturing standards. The applicable standards, certification requirements, inspection scope and document editions are agreed for each project.
Fuda has 30 years of experience in the research and development, design, manufacture, installation and after-sales service of hydromechanical steel structures.
